About this service

What's the difference between cleaning and brightening?
Cleaning is the trough work — hand-removing leaves, palm seeds and roof grit, then flushing every downspout. Brightening is a separate exterior treatment using an oxalic acid blend to remove the black 'tiger stripes' on the outside face of the aluminum. Most South Florida homes need both, but we'll quote them separately so you can decide.
How do you handle palm debris?
Hand removal, then bagged and hauled. Palm seed pods and oak catkins are the two enemies of South Florida gutters — they decompose into a paste that won't flush. We physically pull every clump before we run water.
Do you do gutter guards or repairs?
We install mesh and micro-mesh guards as an add-on, and we'll quote spike/screw re-fastening if a section is pulling. Anything beyond minor re-attachment — sagging, leaks, replacement — we refer to a gutter installation contractor with no markup.
How often should South Florida gutters be cleaned?
Under oaks or palms: every 3–4 months. Open lot with no overhang: twice a year. After every named tropical system regardless of schedule — we run priority routes for clients on annual programs.
